Joseph Hong

Joseph Hong is an experienced educator, tutoring and/or teaching high school to college student. Though he holds a master’s degree in Business Administration, he brings additional decades of real-world experience in writing and editing, translating, and has specialization to the study of history and business. Joseph has overseas teaching experience and has tied to extensive Korean Ivy League schools such as the Seoul National University, Korea University and Yonsei University (SKY University). As an educator in South Korea and US, Joseph had published four business books and became a certified online teacher.  When Joseph is not teaching, he enjoys reading investment books and spending time with his family.

At Seoul National University, Joseph helped many students apply to US undergraduate and graduate schools from writing application to admission essay and document requirements, including soliciting letter of recommendations and major goal settings.

After teaching in South Korea from 2003-2012, both as a professional tutor/mentor and as an instructor, Joseph is currently involved with scholarly research projects at the Knovva Prep, Cascade Prep, Novastar and YZ Education institute. Joseph Hong is interested in teaching young students who are passionate about the English language and literary studies.
