Mezzo-soprano Alma Neuhaus holds degrees from The Juilliard School (MM) and St. Olaf College (BM). Trained in classical singing, her repertoire spans from opera to contemporary works, jazz, and musical theater. Alma has been teaching music for over ten years including positions with Minnesota Opera and Juilliard Community Engagement. Her work as a voice teacher focuses on developing each individual’s unique voice in a safe space. Students of all ages and musical interests are welcome! Originally from Minneapolis, MN, Alma has been featured with MetLiveArts, The New York Philharmonic, Juilliard Opera, Music Academy of the West, and the Lincoln Center Restart Stages initiative. She was named a District Winner of the 2020 Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. Other collaborations include Juilliard415, Juilliard Chamber Music, Bach Roots Festival, and The Singers. She is now based in New York City.
