Ariel Seung Hyun Lee, 23, a native of Seoul, South Korea, is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree in Violin Performance at the Juilliard School under the tutelage of Li Lin. She has received her Bachelor's degree at the Juilliard School, and as an avid chamber and orchestral musician, Ariel has participated in the Heifetz International Music Institute, Music Academy of the West, Great Mountains Pyeong Chang Music Festival, and the Aspen Music Festival in past years. Through these festivals, she has gained extensive experience in collaborating with like-minded musicians. She is a former prize winner of the WDAV’s Young Chamber Musician’s Competition as well as the New York Concerti Sinfonietta Concerto Competition. In her orchestral career, she has had the opportunity to serve as a substitute violinist at New World Symphony and Symphony in C. Aside from performing within her school, Ariel’s passion for expanding the classical music audience leads her to participate in many community engagement programs with the locals in New York City.
