Griffin Jennings is a producer, engineer, and multi-instrumentalist from New York City. He attended the famous LaGuardia High School for guitar, where he started writing music and then Oberlin conservatory, studying experimental and electronic composition with composer-performers Joo Won Park and Aurie Hsu. Griffin strives to create music that sounds human, through simplicity of melody and harmony and use of analog technology during the recording process. He has scored three documentaries for PBS Frontline and podcasts for Pushkin Industries and PRX. This year he recorded and released his first solo album, Static and the Dark. Griffin specializes in teaching recording, mixing, and composition / media scoring.

From Griffin: “If you are a classical musician working remotely, a songwriter looking to record more, or just someone interested in music technology, I can teach you the fundamentals of self-recording and take your productions to the next level. Home recording and production can be invaluable to the modern musician, in this age where remote recording is perfectly viable and there is less of a need for a record label or a big-budget studio. Whether you are using Pro Tools, Ableton, Logic, or Garageband, I can help you make your own recordings sound professional.
