Russell Gelman-Sheehan

Currently the touring guitarist with British singer Seal, Russell has elevated his career quickly after graduating from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in 2016.  Resulting from his versatility, virtuosic ability, and fun-natured spirit, Russell has become frequently requested by some of the most esteemed professionals in the industry, which has led him to perform professionally with a wide range of artists like Jazz bassist Christian McBride, the legendary Gospel group the Clark Sisters, R&B singer Jaheim, and many others.  As an instructor, Russell is flexible with direction and emphasizes developing a personal connection with the musical material being studied.
