Samantha DiCapio is a supportive and accomplished voice teacher specializing in classical (opera, art song, choral), musical theater, and modern commercial styles including pop, Christian, and country. A graduate of Mannes College of Music, with additional training through the Juilliard School and Manhattan School of Music, Samantha brings both professional artistry and pedagogical expertise to every lesson.
Samantha’s lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each student’s goals.
Every session includes:
• Vocal warm-ups and targeted technical exercises
• Repertoire coaching with piano accompaniment
• Performance-style practice using karaoke or backing tracks
• Music theory, sight-singing, and ear training integration
• A brief vocal cool-down to reinforce healthy habits
Her approach draws from Bel Canto, Alexander Technique, Safe Musical Theater Belting, Kodály, Solfège, and Suzuki methods, creating a well-rounded musical foundation.
For younger learners, she incorporates piano, guitar, and rhythm instruments to keep lessons interactive and fun. Samantha is highly skilled in IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) and provides diction coaching in German, Italian, French, Czech, and English (including British and American dialects).
