Dr. Alfonso Hernandez is a pianist and educator dedicated to helping students connect deeply with music, striking a balance between strong technical foundations, enjoyment, and expressive artistry. He holds a Doctorate in Musical Arts from the University of Maryland, as well as degrees from the University of Houston, Eastman School of Music, and Lynn University. Alfonso has performed at major festivals including Aspen and Chautauqua and co-founded the International Chamber Music Festival of Guatemala.

Shuyi Guan was born in Shenyang, China; being inspired by great musicians at the time she began her career as a pianist at the Middle School attached to Shenyang Conservatory of Music. As a pianist, she received recognition from fellow musicians as she received the Dean's Talent Award of the Oberlin Conservatory, Thaviu/ Issak Endowed Scholarship, and Eckstein Fund at Northwestern University. In addition, she also received scholarships to further improve her musicianship attending the Banff Centre in 2010, 2011, 2012.

Dr. Caitlyn Koester is a keyboardist specializing in piano, harpsichord, organ, and other historical keyboards. She has taught students ages 3–80+ through private lessons and college courses in music theory and history. A former faculty member at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and SUNY Stony Brook, she holds degrees from Juilliard, the San Francisco Conservatory, the University of Michigan, and a doctorate from SUNY Stony Brook. An active performer across the U.S., she brings practical performance experience to teaching students of all levels and interests.
