Zoe Obadia is a saxophonist, composer, and teacher based in New York City. Originally from New Jersey, she began playing at a young age and became immersed in a community of great musicians and educators there. She moved to New York in 2014 to attend the Juilliard School and has since performed in the city at venues such as Dizzy’s, Mezzrow, Birdland, Ornithology, and Jazz at Lincoln Center. Zoe has been teaching privately for 9 years. Her teaching style focuses on building fundamentals while getting to know each student and their unique musical interests.

Christian Winther, saxophonist, clarinetist, and composer, was introduced to jazz through his father’s albums of Louis Armstrong and John Coltrane. He started on clarinet at 11, switched to sax, and studied with Darryl Barber and Ellis Marsalis. Based in New Orleans since 1997, Winther has toured internationally and released several albums. His latest, Refuge In Sound, received critical acclaim for its soulful sound and original compositions. He’s also collaborated with top New Orleans jazz artists.

Alaskan born saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist Cooper graduated from the Berklee College of Music and completed his masters at the University of Sussex. He has performed in Los Angeles' For The Record: The Brat Pack, and Broadway's Harlem Renaissance hit After Midnight. As a writer he has written for artists such as Nathan Chester, Elias Hendricks and has performed shows he wrote in New York City venues such as 54 Below and Theater 555. He focuses on teaching expression and artistry as well as technique.

Liza Wu is a classical pianist/keyboardist, performing regularly in Manhattan, as well as internationally. She is an affiliate of Barnard/Columbia, NYU, Avenues, Marsalis RMPBB, and studio pianist of renowned vocalists Josephine Mongiardo, Harolyn Blackwell, and Catherine Malfitano. Alison received her Doctorate in Piano Performance from the Eastman School of Music in May 2020. She made her Carnegie Hall debut recently with works by Schubert, Rachmaninoff, and Prokofiev. Alison has taught college students and beginner to advanced levels of all ages. She approaches each student as unique and caters the lessons to their individual learning style. Her teaching philosophy aims to develop the imaginative mind, sensitive ears, and technical facility so that students become self-directed learners with a fierce love of music.
