Antonia Chandler lives in Lisbon, Portugal, where she plays 2nd/4th horn with the Orquestra Gulbenkian. Originally from Seattle Washington, Antonia earned a Master of Music and a Master of Musical Arts from the Yale School of Music, where she studied with Bill Purvis, and a Bachelor of Music from Oberlin Conservatory where she studied with Roland Pandolfi and received Kappa Lambda Honors. With over 10 years of teaching experience, Antonia enjoys teaching all ages and skill levels, and believes learning to play the horn should be fun and engaging!

In film, she has worked as a harp coach, music supervisor, and hand double, contributing to the acclaimed short Run Amok (2023), which received Oscar consideration. Sophia has also performed with multiple orchestras including the Virginia Symphony Orchestra.
