Michael Drobycki is an accomplished violist and educator with over 15 years of experience. Based in Rostock, Germany, he has performed with top orchestras across the U.S. and Europe, including the Dallas Symphony and Mecklenburgische Staatskapelle Schwerin. Michael holds degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music and Southern Methodist University. His teaching emphasizes technical development, posture, and injury prevention, with many students earning top honors. Michael’s holistic approach fosters student growth, preparing them for auditions, competitions, and overall musical success.

Her private studio nurtured violin and piano students for local and international orchestras, camps, and festivals. I’ve made my life as a musician by being innovative and creative on stringed instruments. Having finished my masters at Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain, I have the tools to be an adaptable musician in almost any genre. My passions are studying folk music from Sweden on my nyckelharpa, using effect pedals on my 6-string violin, and being a strong educator to my audiences and students.

Recently, he earned his master’s at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris.

Salam has taught for 10 years and helped his students get accepted in the Juilliard Pre-College program, SF Symphony Youth Orchestra, Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras, and others. He focuses on establishing a strong and sustainable technical foundation while utilizing principles of Body Mapping and Kinesthetic Awareness.
