Marie completed studies at Northwestern University and the Juilliard School. Fluent in English, German and French, Marie has studied in New York, Vienna and Paris. She also taught vocal trio, Girl Named Tom, prior to their winning NBC’s The Voice.

Alison has formal training in Opera and Musical Theater, with recent interests in Cabaret and Jazz. Her passion for music began as a young singer/songwriter, influenced by classic rock, pop, and country music. She has experience accommodating her music instruction to an array of different disabilities and severity levels.
